A Year in Review

At Hands Offering Hope, we’re celebrating eight years of impact in Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico—and honoring the incredible tenacity, courage, and boldness of our community throughout the past 18 months.

Check out this powerful video recounting all that we have accomplished together—and THANK YOU for making so much of this work possible!

We are honored to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of these young leaders—but we also know that our work is far from done. I invite you to make a gift today to help us pave the way to the future and invest in the next generation of students. Your gift will help us prepare for the next eight years of impact—and get us ready for all that is ahead!

We are so grateful to have a global community behind us as we take each bold step—and we are especially grateful that this community includes you!

Announcing the Culinary and Hospitality Institute at Casa Hope

Two weeks ago, I was in Mexico visiting our team at Casa Hope. I stopped by our incredible professional-grade kitchen—a space that so many of you helped us build—and recorded a short message about an incredible new program that will launch here in July. Take a minute to check it out!

When you make a gift of any size by June 30 you’ll help launch the Culinary and Hospitality Institute and ensure we’re ready to welcome the first 10 students this summer! We’re counting on you to give talented young people access to the training they need to advance their careers.

We are so excited about this bold step forward for the young people we serve. Thank you for partnering with Hands Offering Hope to help change their future!

Honoring Christina Quaranta

Honoring Christina Quaranta

Christina is one of the strongest people I know. As in, literally pushing weight sleds in late pregnancy, but even stronger fighting for racial and social justice in her and every community. She is fierce in her beliefs, actions, leadership, and love.

Honoring Jordyn Wilson

Honoring Jordyn Wilson

Jordyn shines with energy, takes advantage of every opportunity she can find, and works hard to figure out how every door that opens for her is one that she can open for others. She walks towards challenges and isn’t afraid to “unlearn everything she thought was true” to find deeper understanding.

Abby is a relentless advocate for those society attempts to cast aside. She isn’t afraid to use her voice and her power to fight for justice, but also knows when to step aside and allow others to take the lead. She is a fierce friend and one of the bravest women I know.
