Eileen is an extraordinary combination of deep intellect and unconditional love, offered to the world and above all, to her kids. The last part seems obvious, but it’s extraordinary. You might not think of the adjective “fierce” on first meeting Eileen, but that’s what she is, and what her love is.

Ann was one of the first whom I met when moving to Washington CH almost 30 years ago. She taught me patience for others. I quickly renamed her St. Ann. Ann also had the “box.” The box was always filled with items that were being used for one of the volunteer projects she had signed up for. xo
