Meet Yamarani from San Angel! She is part of the San Angel Leadership Club and excited to be part of the Institute this summer. "Being part of the leadership club has taught me about the things I can do and what I like. It has also shown me what I can do to help my community and the people around me."

Meet Selmy from Solferino! Selmy dreams of serving those around her—and she is already doing just that. While her mom works, Selmy cares for her younger siblings. "I dream of going far. I want to achieve the things I set out to do—and I want to help my family and my community."

Meet Vasti, one of our 2021 Institute students! Last year, as a member of the Leadership Club in San Ángel, she helped lead Institute Junior—and now she is so excited to be part of the Institute herself! "When Diego asked me to help with Institute Junior, I was a little nervous because I didn't know anything—this was new for me. But he explained everything and showed me what to do. The children learned very quickly and I loved seeing their happy faces as they did each of their activities. I felt so good and happy to have been able to help Diego lead this program—and by helping, I also gained a friend."
